Important School Year Information
Hello OES Families!
As we prepare for the upcoming school year, we want to make sure you have all the information you will need for a successful year. Please read the following information along with the important links below.
Sneak Peek: Tuesday, Aug 25 from 3:30 - 6:30 pm. Students will have the opportunity to meet their teachers and see their classrooms. Please bring your school supplies along that night. Students and parents will also have an opportunity to meet with Otte Bus to discuss bus routes, and they will have a bus available for students to become familiar with if they are new to bus riding. The Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts will be available as well.
Student Photos: Photos will be taken during Sneak Peek. If you have students at the Middle School, you can take photos at either the Middle School or the Elementary School. High School photos will be taken at a later date. Please see the attachment for information from Harmann Studios about student photos.
First Day of School: Monday, August 31st. The doors will open for students at 8:15 am.

School District Calendar: We ask for your cooperation in planning appointments and vacations around our scheduled days off. Regular attendance is vital for your child's education and we encourage you to prioritize school attendance whenever possible. Should you have any questions or concerns regarding your child's attendance throughout the school year, please don't hesitate to reach out to Mr. Bingham. Registration Fees: Registration fees for the upcoming school year are accessible on your parent portal and are due October 16. You can make payments through the portal under the "Fees" tab. You may also send a check or money order for the correct amount payable to Oostburg School District. Please remember to issue separate checks for registration and lunch fees.
School Lunch & Payments: We are excited to offer nutritious and delicious meal options through the Oostburg School District Food Service Program. Our school lunch meals provide great value and convenience for busy families. To view the weekly menu click here. Payments can be made in the school office with cash or check. For your convenience you can add funds via the Parent Portal under the "Food Service" tab with a $2 transaction fee. Recurring payments can be set up when the balance reaches $0.00 with the online payment option - which will save you time in the future. Note: All lunch accounts must be paid in full and kept current. Lunch balances will rollover the following school year for returning students/families. The account is not child specific, but for the family. Free & Reduced Lunch can be applied for through the Parent Portal at any time.
