A Sandbox Inspired by Students

A student-led idea has become a reality! First-grade teacher Courtney Krabbe partnered with our special education team to create a new sandbox designed to support students’ fine motor skills, creativity, and love of hands-on play. The idea began with kindergarten students advocating for a sandbox, and now it’s ready for students to enjoy!
A special thank-you to OCEF for funding the materials and to Dennis Schleicher for donating the sand. We can’t wait for students to get their first look during Sneak Peek on Tuesday!
