A New Life for the OSD Track

Our track is getting a much-needed refresh! After years of wear, including damaged areas, cracks, and lifting in lanes 7 and 8, the track had reached a point where our track team could no longer safely host home meets.Fortunately, experts determined that the existing track could be repaired and resurfaced rather than completely rebuilt, saving the district a significant amount of money while giving the track another 7 - 10 years of life.Several thousand gallons of binder material will soon be applied to seal and strengthen the surface, followed by a new topcoat.And there's one more exciting detail...The track won' be black next season. Any guesses what color it's going to be?
