🧀 ’Twas the Night Before Grilled Cheese
’Twas the night before Grilled Cheese, in the cafeterias bright,
The staff wiped down the counters and called it a night.
The bread was all stacked, the cheese prepped with care,
In hopes that warm sandwiches soon would be there.
Rebecca, the lead, checked her list twice,
Making sure every loaf was buttered just right.
Amanda prepped, & prepped all with such a grin,
While Jordan and Mary stacked milks in a bin.
Mr. Rob readied his kitchen and it gleamed like new,
And Kathy prepped silverware—one fork, and then two.
The ovens were spotless, the counters all clean,
Ready for magic—from the worlds greatest team.
Students dreamed of the moment when lunch bells would ring,
Echoing through hallways—O' what joy it would bring!
The sammie’s made with such loving care,
Take one, take two—three if you dare!
So here’s to our kitchen—so caring and clever,
A hardworking team that makes each school day better!
May your spatulas shine and your sandwiches please—

We’re excited to kick off another great year in foodservice at Oostburg Schools! Thanks to your continued participation in the National School Lunch Program, our team has been working hard to serve not only delicious meals but also introduce some exciting new options across all schools.
🍽️ At OES (Oostburg Elementary School):
Students now have more choices than ever!
In addition to our daily featured entrées, students can now choose between a grape or strawberry PB&J sandwich.
New! Beginning October 7th, we’re launching Grab & Go Salads, available every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. These fresh salads come with fruits, vegetables, and a carton of milk — perfect for a balanced lunch.

🍴 At OMS (Oostburg Middle School):
Mr. Rob has been busy dishing out some fantastic lunches!
Students can now choose from:
• A hot lunch
• A Grab & Go lunch
• Or, starting October 7th, our new Grab & Go Salads on Tues-Thurs!

🥗 At OHS (Oostburg High School):
Ms. Kathy is serving up a variety of tasty options including hot lunch, Grab & Go meals, and the salad bar!
New this month:
• A Deli Sandwich Bar on Tuesdays
• And back by popular demand — the Aloha Yogurt Bar every Monday in October!
These fun additions offer more variety to fuel our students throughout the day.
