It is a busy weekend day for your Oostburg Flying Dutchman! Boys wrestling starts the morning with a duel vs. Brookfield Central starting at 9:30. Your Lady Dutch basketball team starts their evening at 3:00 where they travel to Brillion to take on the Lions. Show support for your Dutchman athletes!
Free Developmental Screenings will be available for children of the Oostburg School District on Wednesday, January 10 for all children ages 2 years, 9 months – 4 years old, or for any children who have not been screened previously. This free screening is for all Oostburg School District residents.
Screenings will take place in the OES gym – enter through the gym doors by the west side parking lot by the bike racks – watch for signs.
Appointments are necessary! We have limited spots available, starting at 9:30 am with the last appointment at 5:45 pm, with screening sessions lasting approximately 45 minutes. Please call Melanie Wisse at 920-564-2383 ext. 4103 by January 8 to schedule your child’s appointment or if you have any questions.

Our students were introduced to the Revolutionary War submarine in Social Studies and learned how submarines work in Science class. 📚🔍 They built their own models and determined the amount of water needed to sink it 12 inches and how much air to fill the internal balloon to make it rise. 💧💨

Your Lady Dutch basketball team traveled to the "Ledge" last night and defeated a very fast & scrappy St. Mary's Springs team 68-43. Leading the Lady Dutch were Ady K. with 29pts & 9reb, Riley K. with 16pts & 5 steals and Brynn W. with 13pts/8reb/7assists!

I received a message from Springs coach/Athletic Director...they've been going through some injuries and some sickness...
So, long story short...
JV's game will be 2-12 minute halves (still starting at 5:50).
Varsity will be after that, with maybe a few minutes of a break...but may start early.
Just wanted to pass along the information to everyone so you could pass it along to anyone that this information should go to if they're making the trip.

Last night at our basketball games we also had the honor of hosting PINK HEALS of Sheboygan County, They are an organization that raises money for financial support of families in our area affected by cancer. With Jake Englebert & Andrew Jepson helping out, we were able to raise over $1,200.00 for PINK HEALS!!!

Last night we hosted the Mishicot Indians in a Big East girls/boys basketball doubleheader. The Lady Dutch started the night off by beating the visiting Mishicot girls basketball team by a score of 72-48. Then the boys took the court against the Mishicot boys basketball team and was victorious 87-44. Ladies play at Fondy Springs on Thursday night and the boys are back in action on Friday night at Sheboygan Falls. Hope to see you there!!!

Congratulations to the Oostburg Flying Dutchmen wrestling team on winning their own invite this past Saturday. They edged out Sussex Hamilton for the title in the 16 team competition. Taking first places were: Nash Banko, Connor Mentink & Liam Richards!!
