π’π‘π§βπ¬π Ahoy, matey! Check out these pictures from our Submarine STEM Challenge for 5th graders! πΈπ
Our students were introduced to the Revolutionary War submarine in Social Studies and learned how submarines work in Science class. ππ They built their own models and determined the amount of water needed to sink it 12 inches and how much air to fill the internal balloon to make it rise. π§π¨
After conducting trials in class, they tested their creations at the Sheboygan Falls Aquatic Center. πββοΈπ Special thanks to OCEF, Oostburg Community Education Foundation for making this possible! π #BoostTheOost π’π‘π§βπ¬ππ
